This maintenance release of Joomla 1.5 includes a number of important bug fixes.
Existing 1.5 users should patch their installations to bring them up to date. Full instructions are available on joomla.org.
All new Joomla 1.5 hosting orders will now be version 1.5.2.

Joomla! have recently released an important security update to the 1.0.x branch of the Joomla! Content Management System. The update fixes a serious security vulnerability present in previous versions and all Joomla! users are urged to upgrade immediately, particularly if your site was developed with versions up to 1.0.12.

The imminent release of Joomla 1.5 has the community rather excited (read ‘frothing at the mouth’). It constitutes the first major release since Joomla burst onto the scene back in 2005. There are some really impressive new features and usability enhancements that make it more of a viable prospect for serious business websites. Release candidate 3 has been available for some time now and Joomla users all over the world have been putting it through it’s paces.
There is just one small problem. It doesn’t work!
