Cisco Hardware Firewalls

Cisco have long had a reputation for producing industry-leading, enterprise-level firewalls that help to protect web servers from unauthorised intrusion. By hosting with us you will benefit from the same high level of protection.

Application Firewalls

Most server compromises occur through popular web applications such as eCommerce systems, content management systems, blogs and forums. Using a variety of attacks including SQL injection, cross-site scripting and session hijacking hackers are able to gain unauthorised access to the server where they can steal data, deface websites or send out thousands of spam emails. Our application firewall is an extra line of defence that analyses every web page request for signs of malicious activity and blocks anything that could be potentially harmful.

Other Security Measures

We have also implemented measures that help to fix security vulnerabilities inherent in scripting langauages like PHP. Naturally we perform regular security audits and automatic security patching on all our servers as a matter of course.
